Piper Bill Dies at 88

The piper who led Allied troops into battle on D-Day with his bagpipes has died.

Bill Millin - known as Piper Bill - was originally from Glasgow and was personal piper to Lord Lovat, commander of 1 Special Service Brigade at D-Day.

Andy wins Rogers cup in Toronto!!!

Andy Murray has won the Rogers cup in Toronto after beating Roger Federer in straight sets 7-5 7-5, Andy from Dunblane defeated Rafael Nadal ranked number 2 in the World by straight sets in the semi final before taking the tournament against the World number 1.

Andy Murray took revenge against Rafael Nadal in the semi final of the Rogers cup in Toronto for the earlier defeat at the same stage at Wimbledon a few weeks ago.

The Scot won in straight sets 6-3 6-4 and now faces the winner of Federer v Djokovic in the final.
